It is a metal-ceramic or hybrid prosthesis, made with the latest generation resin, which remains fixed in the mouth thanks to its anchorage to dental implants.
On this occasion, the prosthesis is screwed and, unlike the overdenture, it cannot be removed by the patient, but rather by the dentist, generally every year for cleaning and disinfection.
REMOVABLE PROSTHESIS ON IMPLANTS
Also called overdentures, they are complete removable prostheses that are fixed to the arch by means of attachments (bars, locators, overdent) and for this reason they are anchored to the implants.
With the peculiarity that the patient can remove or place it without any problem and thus facilitate their hygiene due to their ease of use.
Recommended in those cases where the mandibular or maxillary bone is very worn, as occurs in the elderly.
